Individuals or slates intending to declare their candidacy must send an email to Nkosi Bradley at bradleync1@gmail.com no later than 24 hours before the Nomination Meeting. While floor nominations are permitted, they are discouraged. All nominees are required to be present at the Nomination Meeting to confirm their eligibility as candidates.

Nomination & Election Process

 

• Candidacy Declaration: Individuals or slates must email bradleync1@gmail.com to declare their candidacy at least 24 hours before the Nomination Meeting.

• Floor Nominations: Floor nominations are permitted but strongly discouraged.

• Nominee Eligibility: Nominees must be present at the Nomination Meeting to be considered eligible candidates.

• Nominee Statements: With prior notice (at least 24 hours before the Nomination Meeting), nominees may accept or declare their candidacy and may provide a statement or address the body.

• Individual Candidate Statement: 2 minutes maximum per individual candidate.

• Full Slate Statement: 10 minutes maximum per full slate.

• Election Day Requirement: All candidates must be present on Election Day.

• Voting Commitment: Candidates must agree to participate in voting during the designated time on Election Day.

• Voting Method: All voters must cast their ballots in person via a "Paper Ballot."
